Thailand stars in Suu Kyi film

A French production team is wrapping up location shooting in Thailand this week for a film about the life of Burma's democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi.

Yeoh: Portrays democracy icon

Industry sources said well-known French director Luc Besson chose Thailand for the production of Dans La Lumiere in which Malaysian-born Hollywood star Michelle Yeoh plays the Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
