One obviously has to feel sorry for the dead soldiers and the locals whom I'm sure are not yellow shirts, however this is Thailand and the elitists continue to get away with murder, I wonder what they think of the poor canon fodder soldiers who have no choice in the matter, probably very little!

Buddhist fighting Buddhist over what? Land or ego.

There is plenty of blame to go all around on this one. From the Yellows, to Abhisit and to Hun Sen too. They've all done their parts to bring it to this point.

PAD/Yellow Shirts Leaders can expect less support from Thai people from now on. We now see they are no different power hungry and blood sucking thugs from UDD/Red Shirts.

The blame for all of this lies squarely with Abhisit. The PAD should have been dealt with or simply ignored, yet Abhisit acts like a naughty son desperate for his angry father's love and tries very hard to give them what they want. Constantly demanding more and more from Cambodia. Sending troops to 'exercise' in the area. Practically begging the PAD to talk with him. His own military has told him to calm down yet his desperation for the PAD to love him again overrides any other concern. Every death in this conflict was easily avoidable. Every death lies at Abhisit's feet.

I feel sorry for folks living at the border. I saw them gathering their belongings, cramed in pickups and sped away. Somewhere in the heart of Bangkok, the PADs are having a ball, launching tirade at Hun Sen and Cambodia.

I wish they rally at the border.

I believe both side should be more patient, Otherwise i believe Thai country will affect where Cambodia no more affect as it is already affected. Being neiboring countries should live in peace and its people will be happy to live on one earth.

I am really sad to hear this horrible news. This is a result of PAD greedy-stupid demands. Stop, as people have suffered enough from you.. otherwise I afraid they will not forgive you..

According to Cambodian News, said 2 thai soldiers dead. One more was captured. So sad to see these innocent soldiers die for a bunch of ignorant yellow shirts. Peace for all cambodias and thais.

Praying for an immediate cessation of hostilities before this escalates into a full-on confrontation. Not good.
