PM: No troop withdrawal from border

The army will not withdraw any troops from the Thai-Cambodian border, even though Indonesia is about to send a team of observers there, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said on Wednesday.

He said Thailand has the right to protect its sovereignty and to retaliate if its rights are violated.

He believed the Indonesian observers would help deter clashes between soldiers of the two countries.

Good on you disc.2. I agree whole-heartedly with your comments. If you are not at the border now protecting Thailand's land, please go there now. We need people like you there to protect this country.

Agreed. No troop withdrawal from border. Cambodia started this. They use their temple as military base. Thailand must not give up land to Cambodia.

The villagers should sue cambodia in ICJ, that way the truth regarding the ownership can be discussed at international level. The rulings will be accepted by both side, which very likely will be in cambodia favour. It will be a real shock for these villagers to find out they are illegal occupying another country border, they will have to move.
