UNESCO support Thailand stance? Support what? It is a dream only.
When UNESCO visit Cambodia, UNESCO will say it support Cambodian managment plan.
Remember: It is just a "diplomatic terms only". UNESCO is not child, they know the Thai's intention already.

"Thailand has stuck to an international principle of using a watershed as a border line but Cambodia has relied on a map made by France."
Treaties signed by both sides that demarcate borders is also an international principle - such as between the US and Canada.

If you look at the geological landscape in 3D using google maps, you can see that if the watershed is the boundary, the entire temple ends up in Cambodia.

This article is not about what the UNESCO envoy said, it is about what the Thai Foreign Ministry says that he said.

No senior UN diplomat would make such statements after taking to only one of the two disputing parties.

Hun Sen gambled but his bluff was called. Now he and his country will lose big time.

This on The Nation why it is different here "The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) yesterday listened but did not make clear whether it agreed with Thailand's request to have a further delay of consideration of Preah Vihear's management plan."

@#5 It is a stupid words, think again before you said this words, How many people you save from Khmer rouge, how many aid you supply for us. It is completely far away from the border dispute of the land you trying to invade. It is mean you help us because seeing our land. It is mean you save us and we have to give you our land. No way, you will never get even a 1mm. look at the previous history. How many province you took from us. but we can say as is it the past and on that time which country is strong can fight for the land. but now there are no more in this intelligent time. you can't do what ever you want. you have to respect the international laws. you said world heritage is all the about peaceful. you know about peaceful but why you bring your troops and made the war. This temple help your people and my people living around.
