Homeless seek out new haven

Vagrants adopt theatre as new sleeping place

As Sanam Luang remains sealed off for renovation, many homeless people now see areas near Chalermkrung Theatre in Phra Nakhon district as their "home".

Footpaths in front of houses near the 78-year-old theatre have been turned into sleeping places for these people, many of whom have their favourite spots where they curl up beneath ragged blankets.
