Thai team bags 3 science prizes

Three students from Suratpittaya School in Surat Thani have taken home three prizes from the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2011_ the world's largest high school science research competition _ in the United States.

TRIPLE TREAT: Three students from Suratpittaya School in Surat Thani join other winners in celebrating awards from the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair 2011 in Los Angeles—the world’s largest high school science research competition.

The team of Pornwasu Pongtheerawan, 16, Arada Sungkanit, 16, and Tanpitcha Phongchaipaiboon, 17, was named an Intel Foundation Young Scientist Award winner.
