Maybe the thinking is that if PTP wins the redshirts will GO AWAY! One way to make reconciliation work would be to have Jatuporn not involved in any way. LOL

    Ben, discussion 12

I'm pretty sure "the majority of the red shirts" didn't support mass arson, bomb attempts, and the attempts on Abhisit's life, either. But they certainly didn't approve of the way Abhisit came to power & they are about to vote his illegitimate administration out of office.

I'm pretty sure "the majority of the country" didn't support mass arson, bomb attempts, and the attempts on Abhisit's life. Not even 15% of Thais identify as Red... and one doubts if anywhere near that 15% support these violent actions.

#1 "I must be living in a deferent Bangkok to this poll" ....that's for sure..and you thought you actually knew something!
#10 "It's incredible that people seem to forget the Red Shirt Party burned down 30 buildings in Bangkok, tried to blow the Din Daeng flats, and tried to kill the Prime Minister twice." Yeah and the majority of the country supported them, because the Dems belittled their democratic right.

It's incredible that people seem to forget the Red Shirt Party burned down 30 buildings in Bangkok, tried to blow the Din Daeng flats, and tried to kill the Prime Minister twice. Yingluck may be a pretty face, but things will get very ugly after the election if Thaksin is calling the shots.

Basically 50% undecided... that's a lot of room for swing-votes (both ways). I hope good and informative campaigns are given room (by politicians and voters alike) to prevail.

Suprised I am not. Really a 2 horse race and just that Ahbisit has not really done enough to convince Bangkokians that he is capable to govern. BKK just want change.

In bangkok a large number of small business are owned and run by women, who besides looking after the money also need to look after the kids and the house. So naturally they can understand Yingluck better since she too is a businesswoman. All she need to do to win them over is to review the policy of small businesses to help them reduce red-tape, corruption and provide easy access to loans. She can built more childcare centres for working mothers in the city, more schools and family activities centres for working parents. If she can use her feminine side to solving bangkok city problems she will win larger then the foreign product now running the government.

Today,”PM says city voters will determine poll”
    However, does this result ?
There is no justice in the Democrat Party.

Asked what is the first thing they look for in deciding whether to vote for a candidate, 31.7 per cent said a candidate's was their past achievements,

Can someone tell me what Yingluck Shinawatra's past achievements are?
