Sensitive issue needs careful handling

I disagree with most of what has been said on the People's Alliance for Democracy's stage, except for one remark made recently by Thepmontri Limpapayom. He said: "Thailand is entering kalyug. Everybody must live a prudent life and maintain one's consciousness all the time."
The commentator is right. This society is on the brink of chaos, but I don't think it is because there are too many bad politicians, as Mr Thepmontri suggests.
The real time-bomb that could land the country in a tumult will be neither Pheu Thai Party's landslide victory and the return of Thaksin Shinawatra, nor Cambodia's takeover of the 4.6-sqkm disputed area near Preah Vihear temple.
