The villagers hope to collect up to 50,000 signatures for their petition to change the 1961 National Park Act, the 1964 National Forest Reserve Act and the 1975 Land Reform for Agriculture Act so residents can legally live on and run businesses in forest reserves, said Chun Sirichaikhirikoson, a member of the Nakhon Ratchasima provincial administration organisation.
