Special toys for special children

Mothers of impaired kids work with company to make toys suited to their disabilities

Nong Luk Hin, a boy who suffers from severe cerebral palsy, reacts to few stimuli and has no toys that can help him learn by playing.

A blind child enjoys himself playing with a toy designed under the ‘‘Mom-Made Toys’’ project.

About four years ago, his mother, Saowapa Teeraprechakul, noticed how the sound of a plastic bag rustling nearby caught his attention.
