RESHUFFLE
A disagreement has erupted between Defence Minister Yutthasak Sasiprapa and outgoing permanent secretary for defence Gen Kittipong Keskowit over the next permanent secretary and supreme commander.
A military source said Gen Yutthasak and Gen Kittipong, who will retire next month, were backing different candidates for permanent secretary.
Gen Kittipong has reportedly nominated Gen Khanit Sapitak, chief adviser to the defence minister, as his successor.

Since when do outgoing secretaries nominate their own successors? Surely yhe new government and Defense Minister should have a say in this?
