Bhutan Post and Thailand Post have unveiled six sets of stamps to commemorate the royal wedding of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Jetsun Pema next Thursday.
Commemorative stamps, featuring Bhutan’s monarch, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and his fiancee Jetsun Pema, are displayed at the 2011 International Letter-Writing 2011 Week Fair at Chamchuri Square. Six sets of the special stamps are on sale for 600 baht at the fair, organised by Thailand Post. The fair runs until Tuesday. SOMCHAI POOMLARD
The first lot of the stamps were yesterday presented to HE Tshering Dorji, Ambassador of Bhutan to Thailand who will then present them to King Jigme on behalf of the Thai people.
