Tongsuk Kreewit looks sombre, his face marked by worries, as he watches TV news about the flood situation in his hometown province of Ayutthaya.
It has been two days since he and his relatives decided to evacuate, leave their homes and take refuge at Thammasat University's Rangsit campus in Pathum Thani province. The gymnasium at the campus has been turned into an emergency shelter for flood victims. A thousand or so people have stayed there.
"I am totally broke this time. I have nothing left. Everything is gone with the water," Mr Tongsuk said.
