Many Bangkok commuters were caught in traffic gridlock as they began their working week on Monday when truckers, bus owners and taxi drivers blocked roads in protest against the government’s decision to raise the pump prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Jan 16.
