Wichean sceptical about bomb suspect attack plots

National Security Council secretary-general Wichean Potephosree has admitted he is unsure if Swedish-Lebanese terror suspect Hussein Atris is actually involved in planning terrorist attacks.

Pol Gen Wichean, former national police chief, yesterday warned officials to be more careful in handling the case and not to jump to any conclusions.

Arresting and detaining the suspect without bringing a charge of terrorism against him could have adverse repercussions, Pol Gen Wichean said.

Attack of the megaphonies. This is all smoke and mirrors.
Iranian's people are terrorized and killed by whom? Who is looking real stupid by the world right now?
And yes we remember the last smoke and mirrors here in Bangkok with a furalizer bomb, much to do about nothing.. A supposed attack on Israel.
Care about loss of life? Do something about the carnage of palastine, afganistan or libia where people kill, maim in the name of democracy and israel.

khunbj d6 In what way does it look fishy? The guy was caught after trying to recruit other Lebonese to his cause, his apartment has enough fertilizer to create a bomb big enough to take down any building in Bangkok. How is that fishy? Even forest gump would see that this guy planned on creating a bomb for use in Bangkok, there is nothing the US or Isreal needs to say. The evidence already speaks loud enough.

This part of Pol Gen Wichean's statement;
'Arresting and detaining the suspect without bringing a charge of terrorism against him could have adverse repercussions'.Pol Gen Wichean said.
What I think he means is, that the repercussions could begin from major terrorist forces against Thailand for apprehending this guy. Time to choose; "your either with us or against us" ?

And this man tried to leave the country with an expired passport? How long had he been in the country? Is his intelligence impaired?
If this is true. what other facts will imerge? Is he just a person who has been taken for a ride by other lebonese people who are actually terrorists, by them offering money to do this?
Lots of things do not make any sense of this farce. To many cooks spoiling the broth. There should only be 1 person a PR giving out statements about this. What next will they say?
This is no laughing matter when peoples life's are at risk. Where are the other people who are involved now?
