Activists and academics have raised doubts over the credibility of terrorism threats in Thailand.
Palestine Solidarity Thailand chairman Stuart Ward said the recent commotion over the arrest of Lebanese terror suspect Hussein Atris at Suvarnabhumi airport last Thursday had led to suspicion and worry that this was a case of Islamophobia _ hatred or irrational fear of Islam or Muslims _ in this region.
"I'm tired of any plot to sabotage the ground we've gained in the understanding and support of Muslims worldwide towards the course of Palestine independence," Mr Ward said. "I think it is the US and its ally's propaganda [that has led to] people in this region growing doubtful of Muslims."
