Exhibition puts focus on climate

The National Science Museum of Thailand and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok have joined hands to organise an exhibition to raise public awareness of climate change.

Minister of Science and Technology Plodprasop Suraswadi said changes in the climate were obvious to see, and a rise in sea level was inevitable.

With the sea level expected to rise by four to six metres over time as a result of the phenomenon, some Thais will have to decide where to live and farm once their land is submerged.
