More options for migrants to register

The Labour Ministry has agreed to extend the nationality verification deadline for foreign workers until June.
Permanent secretary for labour Somkiart Chayasriwong said nearly 215,000 foreign workers whose work permits will expire by the end of this month would be temporarily allowed to work in the country pending their nationality verification.
All immigrant workers are required to register to enter the nationality verification process before Feb 28.
