Chalerm wants drug postings abroad

A proposal will be made to the cabinet next week to post drug suppression officials in four neighbouring countries for intelligence operations, Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung said on Wednesday.

Mr Chalerm, who is in charge of national drug suppression, said this after attending a meeting with other deputy prime ministers and ministers in charge of the government's major policies, chaired by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

Many issues were raised for discussion, including flood prevention, corruption and illegal drugs.

I am 100% against the death penalty. But...having said that, if there IS a death penalty I suggest:

- police dealing in drugs
- military personnel dealing in drugs
- politicians dealing in drugs
- wealthy "legitimate" business men and women using their place in society as a cover

be the first to automatically receive the death penalty.

If this were initiated you can be sure there would be a drastic drop in drug availability.

Mr Chalerm is doing what Europe does for a long time....sharing intelligence and
(in Europe's case)even making cooperative arrests.
In order to prepare for the 2015 ASEAN "open border" policy he is doing the right thing.
And let me point out that i am convinced that ALL neighboring countries are eager to
"share and care": for there citizens.
Lets stop making old excuses like "there were drugs before humans"
This is an epidemic and mr Chalerm knows it!
