Ex-cabinet member's dad in land scandal

The father of a former cabinet member has been implicated in alleged encroachment on state-owned land in Ratchaburi's Suan Phung district.

Sompong Chawaltanpipat, father of former deputy education minister Narisara Chawaltanpipat, is accused of encroaching on two plots of land covering 1,500 rai and 176 rai respectively, Department of Special Investigation (DSI) senior investigator Prawuth Wongsrinil said.

    Will this never stop in Thailand?! Almost everyone from the top to the bottom just thinks about money and himself! It is a shame and the people should now realize this and take actions!
