The criteria for paying compensation for those killed, wounded and disabled in political violence between 2005 and 2010 are likely to be concluded on Monday, Feb 20, Prime Minister's Office permanent secretary Thongthong Chandrangsu said on Tuesday.
Mr Thongthong, chairman of a subcommittee on remedial measures and reparations, said the critieria would be submitted to the independent fact-finding committee for national reconciliation chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Yongyuth Wichaidit.
Compensation criteria for those have been charged and are still under legal procedures, and for small- and large-scale businesses affected by the violence would be worked out at today's meeting of the subcommittee, he said.
