Tablet study finds city, rural schools need different content

Learning content that will be installed on tablet computers allocated to Prathom 1 (Grade 1) students must vary depending on the school, a seminar was told yesterday.

As part of the government's "One Tablet PC Per Child" policy, Srinakharinwirot University conducted a study gauging the impact of tablet computers on 500 Prathom 1 and 4 students in five pilot schools.

They were Rachawinit School in Bangkok, Anuban Lampang School in Lampang, Anuban Phangnga School in Phangnga, Sanambin School in Khon Kaen and Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School in Bangkok.

    It showa that the education system needs changeing,as all schools should have the same curriculum.
    Rural areas should be at the same level as big cities at the same age. If not why not? it can only be the education system or even the teachers.
    This shows there is a big divide between big city and rural teachings and education.

    3 hrs to charge, and then last for no more that 2 hrs?

    seems like someone got paid for a device that is below standard!
