There are now groups of people actively campaigning to undermine the monarchy in nine provinces, according to a Democrat Party MP for Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Apichart Sakdiseth, chairman of the second subcommittee of the House committee on security of the state, said this on Thursday, citing information given to his panel by representatives of the Interior Ministry.
The nine provinces are Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nakhon Sawan, Udon Thani, Nong Bua Lamphu, Loei, Songkhla and Bangkok.
