Porn pic wasn't sent by AV staff

A technical probe has found that the pornographic image that emerged on screen in the House chamber during the charter amendment debate last Wednesday was not transmitted by parliament audio-visual staff.

Deputy House secretary-general Khamphi Ditthakorn yesterday invited experts from CAT Telecom and parliament IT officials to investigate the April 16 incident.

The experts checked smartphones and tablets of various brands, including iPhones, Samsung Galaxy Notes, Samsung Galaxy Tabs and iPads. Parliament audio-visual staff smartphones and mobile phones were also checked.

@Disc 15 - Aljazeera news network filmed the MIB with guns at opposite ends of the soldiers during the protest. There are also numerous other proof by other medias, but some people just want to deny all the facts and live in their red wonderland.

D14@johninbkk - You talk as if there are only two parties in Parliament - actually 11 parties secured an MP in 2010. I do not believe it has ever been alleged that the photo was sent by another MP, although given the angle of the photo it is hard to see how the photo of the offending MP would not have been taken (and released) other than by someone in the chamber. That said why do you assume that cross party friendships do not exist - surely one of the keys to reconciliation is that they do

@bkk-farang #10 Yes, as for the proof of black shirts in action during the democracy protests, I've seen better photo evidence of the Loch Ness monster, Sasquatch, and the Yeti. Keep trying though, some people swear they exist as well.

pjt D12 - One Dem MP was caught looking at a raunchy photo on his phone at about the same time (fact); he said his friends sent it to him (fact). Assuming he doesn't have friends in the PTP party, what other MPs does that leave us?

bkk-farang D10 - The red shirt guards all wore black, and were entirely unarmed. They are not to be confused with the mysterious armed 'men in black', which also wore all black. The image of the guard you linked to was just a guard - he was asked to take seized weapons to the red shirt stage for display, hence the photos of him. He's not even holding the gun properly. It's easy to misunderstand what's going on in those images without knowing the context.

D3@johninbkk - Seems people associated with PT are an awfully suspicious lot - any idea to which party you suspect the MPs belong??

So what if they can't get the phone number, have they tried looking at the MAC addresses? assuming there is a log of the wi-fi connections made. The 'experts' seem quite clueless if this wasn't considered

    That's a DLNA certified display.
Anyone on the same network could have hit 'play to' on their Windows 7 notebook and sent the image to the big screen...

There is a proper English expression for this: The Naked Truth.... But in the end it is all a lot of fuzz about nothing and wasting time and efforts.
