Cabinet members tour markets

PM says prices aren't as high as she expected

Cabinet members yesterday visited a fresh market to survey food prices and insisted most products were cheaper than they were last year and that prices were coming down.

PM's Office Minister Nalinee Taveesin receives assurance from a market seller that prices these days aren't all that high.

PM's Office Minister Nalinee Taveesin, who paid a visit to Watthananan market on Song Prapha Road in Don Muang district, said only fruit, vegetables and meat cost more.

    Deputy Finance Minister Tanusak Lek-uthai, Deputy Transport Minister Pol Lt Gen Chatt Kuldiloke, Anusorn Kraiwatnussorn, an assistant to the labour minister, Information and Communication Technology Minister Group Capt Anudith Nakornthap ALL said prices were same as last year, stable, unchanged or lower than last year. So there! It is unanimous and official, all shoppers are imagining things. The government has spoken!!

    Only!!! These are staples in the Thai diet!!! The Govt just don't get it.
