4 hurt in restaurant gas explosion

Four people were injured by a gas explosion at a restaurant in Bangkok's soi Rang Nam, behind Sri Ayudthya School, reports said on Wednesday.

The blast occurred about 11.50am. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control.

The four injured were taken to nearby hospitals. There were no fatalities.

    According to reports, the kitchen staff were changing a gas cylinder next to some ovens that were on. An accident waiting to happen. There really does appear to be a total lack of common sense in this country.
