Dems bring case against DSI chiefs

The Democrat Party has petitioned the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), accusing the Department of Special Investigation's chief and deputy chief of neglect of duty by not seeking the prosecution of suspects in an alleged plot to overthrow the monarchy, and red-shirt co-leader Jatuporn Prompan and others for lese majeste.

Suthep Thaugsuban, a Surat Thani MP and former deputy prime minister, said he today assigned lawyers to file two cases with the NACC against DSI chief Tarit Pengdit and deputy chief Prawet Moolpramuk.
