The majority of people agree that the policies, projects, measures and resolutions implemented by the government during its first nine months in office benefit them, but apart from the 15-year free education, the steps do not cover everyone in all localities, an Abac Poll revealed on Sunday.
The poll was conducted from May 20-26 on 2,441 people in Bangkok, Chanthaburi, Kanchanaburi, Ayutthaya, Chon Buri, Suphan Buri, Phichit, Phetchabun, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Maha Sarakham, Si Sa Ket, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Chumphon, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Songkhla.
Asked their opinion of the government's policies, projects, measures and resolutions during the first nine months in office such as the 15-year free education, free bus and train services, free limited use of electricity and water,15,000 baht monthly salary for bachelor degree graduates, 300 baht daily minimum wage, sales of goods at inexpensive prices, and other steps, most respondents agreed they benefit the people more than politicians and the business sector.
