Warrant out for Malaysian tourist's killer

The Narathiwat Court has approved a police warrant for the arrest of a Thai man suspected of killing and robbing a Malaysian tourist on the night of July 8, Sungai Kolok district police chief Pol Lt-Col Taweesak Thongsongsri said on Tuesday.

On the night of July 8, the Malaysian tourist identified as Tang Ah Lo, 58, was killed and robbed of his valuables and his Proton car.  His body was found near an irrigation canal at Ban Nam Tok in tambon Pasemas in Sungai Kolok district of Narathiwat.

With information from witnesses who saw the Malaysian and a Thai man quarrel in front of a PTT petrol station in Sungai Kolok municipality, a sketch was made of the suspect and it matched a picture  of Sukaruno Da-o, 25, a native of tambon Pasemas.
