Greater transparency? I believe the problem is that we can see right through this Government already! More honest, hardworking, less corrupt officials is what this country needs, not posturing and never-ending hot air.

Both Yingluck and Abhisit have the same problem, neither leads a team but rather a collection of individual 'prima donnas'. In such circumstances all they can do is try.

But won't she have to be in parliment to do this?

I wasn't supprised to see that when the medal winning weightlifter was in parliment guess who wasn't.
I agree with other comments all BS and hot air.

Quote: Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul spoke to the diplomats about the country's internal political situation. Fine, but I just read what they talked about, but not what has been said... That's a major difference. Thus, what instructions did they get, what will their response be on the situation in Thailand, and so on... Contents please.

What utter nonsense. Everyone knows it's just a show for fools and horses, empty and insincere. She and her cabinet has no intention of being anything near transparent.
And before Bula and all the Yingluck and PT defenders jump in and say "the Dems were the same" well, Yes they were. But I'm not criticizing them because they are not the ones running the country now.

"I will try to resolve political conflicts through parliament. I will organise public hearings on issues that will have a wide impact on people to promote good understanding,". Would have been nice if the sentence did not include "try to"......
