Yer right, There dead handy, if you never need them.

"It is consistent with US national interests to assist Thailand in developing and maintaining a strong and ready ship self-defence capability, which will contribute to the military balance in the area".

I'm sure it will contribute to peace in the area.As well as helping out Raytheon Missile Systems and BAE Systems.

"This proposed sale will contribute to the foreign policy and national security of the United States by increasing the ability of Thailand to contribute to regional security and improving interoperability with the US military in operational and exercise scenarios,”

In that case, why aren’t they being donated free, gratis, and for nothing?

Normally, when SPIN selling, you should highlight the benefits to the customer - not the vendor.

There seems to come no end to the WASTE of money of the Thai people. When will brains and common sense finally prevail?

Instead of buying 9 missiles it would be obvious to spend the taxpayers money on bomb and bullet protectioned humbies for the soldiers on patrols in the south.
100 bomb sniffer dogs, protection gear and training in guerillia warfare with infiltration of the enemy, anf add a million THb on each head of the terrorists, dead or a live.
