PHUKET: The family of a Frenchman severely injured in the Tiger Discotheque fire on Friday have described their terrifying four-hour search for him following the blaze.

Benjamin Tallanotte, 30, is currently in intensive care in Bangkok Hospital Phuket after suffering severe burns to around 40% of his body. He was to be flown to an international hospital in Bangkok for treatment by burn specialists.

Four people died in the fire that broke out around 3.30am on Friday at the popular nightspot on Bangla Road in Patong, while Benjamin and 10 others were injured.

Tiger Disco was closed at 3.30am?

First time I've ever heard of that. I mean, why would it be closed at 3.30am when Seduction, Hollywood, Famous, Banana, Taipan, Rock City and Boat Bar are all open?

Thailand is getting a very bad name for not looking after it's tourists health and safety. con them, scam them the place is becoming a joke and what will be done about it nothing as usual, the same as my mail will not get posted as usual because it is to near the truth.
