Eriksson joins BEC Tero

Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson was officially named technical director of BEC Tero Sasana on Monday, hoping to return the Thai Premier League club to its former glory.

Robert Procureur, the club's general manager, said the 64-year-old Swede will work closely with the staff of the Thai Premier League club starting with the next match against Chainat FC on Saturday. He will stay with the club until the end of the season.

The club and the new technical director will sit down to talk about his future with BEC Tero Sasana after the campaign is over, he added.
