About 600 red-shirt and yellow-shirt protesters clashed outside the Crime Suppression Division offices on Phahon Yothin road on Tuesday, and commuters were advised to avoid the area, reports said.

The rival protesters gathered after police summoned for questioning a former female teacher who publicly accused red-shirt key supporter Darunee Kritbunyalai of defaming the royal institution last month.

There were about 100 red-shirts and about 500 yellow-shirts outside the compound, the reports said.

It turns out about 400 red shirts attacked 50 elderly yellow shirts peacefully demonstrating. But it obviously was the yellow shirts' fault, right Android?

this mean so much for a compromise and reconcilliation?.I don't think Thailand wouldn't need it anyway, just let this kind of a so called democrazy take it course. let it be like Syria as what is going on right now. is that the kind of medicine you all want to taste?.

Police really needs to start doing their jobs and get the protester off the street. These monkeys can't take over any road they feel like it. I bet the same protesters would be furious if people were block their home or path to work.

Have you read the update, android? With this update, there was no yellow mob, only a red mob...again.

"Bangkok Post reporter Voranai Vanijaka, who was observing the rally site, said there were nearly 200 red-shirts and about 50 yellow-shirts gathering outside the compound. Many of them appeared to be over 40 years old.

He said the red-shirts were waving flags, showing middle fingers and taunting continually..."
