Woman drugged, stole from lover

CHIANG MAI – Police arrested a married woman accused of drugging her lover and stealing his money after a sexual rendezvous, reports said.

On Tuesday police arrested a woman identified as Mrs Prapassorn, 48, and found six sleeping pills in her possession.

Police said they received a complaint from a 31-year-old man (name withheld), accusing the suspect of drugging him and taking off with 26,000 baht in cash.

    Thank you for having the class to withhold the victim's name. Robbery by drugging happens frequently to foreigners in Pattaya, but the local media there insists on reporting the name, age, nationality of the victim along with how he met the prostitute who robbed him. The likely result is many of these crimes going unreported because new victims do not want their biographical information and sexual exploits on the internet permanently for anyone who Googles their name to see.
