BANGKOK - Police have detained 16 foreign prostitutes working at a massage parlour in Huay Kwang district, reports said on Wednesday.

A team of 30 officers led by Pol Maj-Gen Adul Narongsak, deputy chief of the Metropolitan Police, and Pol Col Boonsong Namakorn, superintendent of Huay Kwang police, raided night entertainment venues in Huay Kwang on Tuesday night.

The team found 16 foreign prostitutes, aged between 20 and 25, working at the High Class Entertainment Complex.

Wow what a surprise, when did they start cracking up on prostitution when it is right in front of their face everyday, heck many even take a stroll down there after work. Ironic.

A team of 30 (!) police officers led by a police Major-General busted 16 girls between the ages of 20 to 25 years old allegedly working as prostitutes. Wow! and some people think Thai the cops can’t “get it done”. Of course these guys must have been the best of the best in the field or in the appropriate ordinary parlance of the bust, the’ crack unit’. Now Bangkok is safer!

Did they miss all the African prostitutes working on Sukhumvit soi 5 in front of Starbucks .They are the ones offering sex to passersby if authorities arent sure how to locate them .

There is an easy explanation: Basically all Thai girls learn Thai massage. Some traditional and some not so traditional, but at the end of the day it is up to them with which body part they massage which body part – it’s still Thai massage.
But the foreign girls will never be able to give a proper Thai massage; they are not even Thai, so how should that be possible? Hence, if they their bodies touch the customer bodies this is prostitution and no Thai massage :)

Maybe the foreigner prostitutes are more sold than the local thai prostitutes.

The ironic thing, prostitutes; need work permits?

I guess there is no category in the Ministry of Labour even if they apply for work permits.
