Big crater disrupts Vibhavadi traffic

BANGKOK - A two-metre deep crater appeared on Vibhavadi road on Tuesday morning, disrupting traffic, police said.

A section of the road in front of Vibhavadi Hospital was closed to traffic temporarily for repairs.

The hole was about two metres long and two metres deep.

    "Bangkok authorities said the hole was the result of subsidence caused by the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority's installation of new underground pipelines".

    99% of failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.

    I know somebody said this before but it applies.

    Another subsidence caused hole, plug the water line, fill up the hole, add a layer of asphalt and get on with it. And then prepare for the next one somewhere.
