DSI cannot identify 2010 'men in black'

The Department of Special Investigation accepts there were "men in black" involved in the clash at Khok Wua intersection on April 10, 2010, but it has been unable to identify them, DSI deputy chief Pol Col Prawes Mulpramuk says.

Speaking before the House committee on police affairs yesterday, Pol Col Prawes said DSI files have a photo of a man wearing black with an AK-47 rifle on Tanao Road on the day but it could not prove he was a red-shirt guard identified as Sornchai Sridee, as claimed by Democrat MP Sirichoke Sopha.

The DSI has not found any evidence that anyone was killed by men in black.

Just because someone puts on a black shirt that does not make him a serious criminal...exactly as redshirts did not burn down Bangkok...a few individuals did...generalization in convenient if people are not sure but it can be dangerous...Hitler used the same kind of generalization during the war against the jews ..to the Men in Black, even though for some it is hard to grasp then they were not found, because then DSI would also have been able to identify the Tooth fairy and Santa..(: The men in black was an excuse for the Government to insert the military and use them to quell the demonstration, all wars had an excuse Hitler used German soldiers dressed as Poles as excuse and the famous Iraq war used WMD as an excuse, and as we all know, WMD were never found...exactly as ....?

"The DSI has not found any evidence that anyone was killed by men in black."

Then who was responsible for the deaths of military personnel?

I fully agree with D1,Wyle. It's a publicly known "secret" that these MIB were former paramilitary rangers under the command of Seh Daeng a.k.a. the Red General. He even said so himself, during an interview.
DSI should be shut down. They're a waste of our tax-money.

If there was to be any chance to identify the 'Men in Black' then it should been done within a few months of the fighting. It is a ridiculous and tragic situation that the Democrats did not use the full power of the government to investigate who did what.

If a masked bank robber was filmed during the robbery. He was there and doing no good. But no one cannot identify him. So what's the big excuse because no body can identify the men in black They were still there firing guns.. It's all on film

The red shirt defenders had been insisting all along that the "men in black" were a myth created by their opponents, even though they were photographed and video taped. It didn't fit their version of the "truth".

The only surprise here is DSI admitted that 'Men in Black' existed. I do not believe anybody thought that the DSI would investigate further. There were many videos and pictures of MIB going and coming into the Red camp. I am sure an independent investigation would turn up more the the red leaning DSI.
