Retired cop killed in Yala

A retired police officer was shot and killed in a ride-by attack in Yala's Raman district on Thursday.

Pol Lt-Col Uthai Thipsopha, the Raman police chief, said the incident took place at about 9.30am on a road at Ban Phomeng village in tambon Kayu Boko, Raman district.

Pol Lt Ingsari Doroning, 53, a retired officer, was returning home on a motorcycle from taking his child to a nursery at Ban Phomeng when he was followed by two men on another motorcycle. The pillion rider opened fire at him with a handgun.

    RIP. How hard can it be to isolate and identify the killers, they are on bikes with limited ranges.

    Sickening. If he was a random killing then the killer must live close by.
