SA KAEO : Confusing information about the risk of possible flooding, rather than the Gaemi tropical depression itself damaged local business in this eastern province, traders say.

Business operators at the popular Rong Kluea border market say exaggerated reports by the authorities about the extent of the storm _ downgraded as it approached Thailand over the weekend _ kept customers away and led to unnecessary loss of trade.
