New airline boss vows no political meddling

Sorajak Kasemsuvan, the new president of state-owned Thai Airways International (THAI), says he is free from political influence.

Taking office yesterday, Mr Sorajak said his work would not suffer from political interference.

"I do not receive orders from any politician. That said, it is normal for a state enterprise owned by the Finance Ministry to be supervised by politicians when it comes to policies, but such political involvement is at a normal level.

How about reducing fares to help the airline fill the seats. By offering value for money instead of Jasmine rice, the airline could increase, just look at the fares from the oil nations ..you think they are running at a lost? No the are offering value for money, and filling all their flights. and as the National airline you offer unfair routes in Thailand, Why can you not offer bus route services? 3, 4, 5 stops around the country..say...BKK to Phitsanulok to Phetchabun to Udon and back the other way, every day.
