'Men in black' caravan hits the streets ahead of rally

The Democrat Party yesterday released a "men in black" caravan to highlight the involvement of armed, black-clad men in the 2010 red-shirt rallies.

The Democrat Party’s ‘men in black’ caravan is greeted by supporters as it makes a stop at Democracy Monument. The caravan is part of an effort to attract people to a Democrat rally at Lumpini Park today. APICHART JINAKUL

The caravan, led by party MPs Tankhun Jitt-itsara and Boonyod Sukthinthai, made five stops along the route where the so-called men in black were reportedly sighted during the April-May rallies.

Gen Prayuth said the men in black hid behind red-shirt protesters as they launched the attack, making it impossible for security forces to respond in kind.
Maybe soldiers are shooting each other or launch M79 on their own troops, bunkers; that would be crazy.
There is nothing more to say. You hit the nail Gen Prayuth.

You make a valid point D2, but what if the victims were the product of MiB? As we know the man in Dubai has many friends in the military and police, so it wouldn't be difficult for him to slaughter a couple of their own, all the better to make the government look like murderers. Problem is we will never know the truth.

"Army chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha said yesterday the army had information about the black-clad men..."

Well, Anupong said the same. Suthep and Korn said likewise. The draft dodger said he knew who these MIB are. Surely AV will not dodge the opportunity to arrest and put such dangerous people behind bars? Sadly with so much time on hand, and so many claims of knowing who the MIB are, not a single one of them was arrested.

Either the MIB is a figment of their imagination, used to deceive the public. Or the MIB is indeed real, but the puppet government of AV is an absolute failure at dealing with real threats and only good at jailing political opponents who said the wrong things on stage.

A key contribute to any atrocity, throughout history, is the dehumanization of the victim. The insistence that the red shirt victims of the 2010 protests were heavily armed terrorists is an attempt of dehumanization.

There is strong evidence that these MiB existed. But the reality is that not a single victim of state violence was armed or a 'black shirt', and there has been zero evidence linking these MiB to red shirts. The MiB are the excuse to carry out atrocities, and to be a scapegoat for those atrocities.

It's not fit and proper to identify the MIB as this would implicate the PTP and the Prime Minister in Dubaii.
