The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) is to draft a regulation governing the pricing of 3G services to make sure they are no higher than the existing 2G price benchmark.

The new rule will apply to 3G operators for both voice and data tariff rates, said Settapong Malisuwan, chairman of the NBTC's telecom committee.
