Reds unhappy Jatuporn not in cabinet

Many red-shirt people were unhappy that their co-leader Jatuporn Prompan was not given a ministerial position during the snap cabinet reshuffle, Pheu Thai MP for Surin Prasit Chaisrisa said on Thursday. 

Pol Sgt Maj Prasit, a key member of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), said red-shirts wanted Mr Jatuporn to be made a cabinet member because he was a key leader in rallying for true democracy.

As a consequence of that, Mr Jatuporn faced many criminal charges, he added.
