B2.7m bank heist in Phuket

PHUKET - An armed man held up the Kasikorn Bank's Thep Krasattri branch and made off with about 2.7 million baht on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

A bank teller told police that the man, wearing a black jacket and a motorcycle helmet, held her at gun point and forced her to fill a bag with money.

The man then fled on a motorcycle with no licence plate.
