The Securities and Exchange Commission has thrown its weight behind the drive to fight corruption and an effort to force the country's most popular TV newsman to step aside.

All companies and people working in capital markets must cooperate in acting against corruption, SEC secretary-general Vorapol Socatiyanurak said in a letter released on Friday.

Corruption is a way of life anyway; starting with vote buying. From top to bottom. Well continue like this, that is ok. You believe in God Money anyway. Preserve appearances and fakes. Every political decision is corrupt anyway here. The first car buyer, the rice scheme, the land encroachments etc. Good thing about guillotine, is that, the chopped head off still has a few seconds left to see paradise, or hell in that case.

Business cannot accept corruption yet they stand by and watch billions disappear with no rational explanation in sight from the current government. Either enforce the laws equally against all corruption or don't bother selectively enforcing it at all

I support their efforts against corruption, but why are they targeting a television presenter instead of politicians?

"They need to oppose, reject and provide no support at all to people whose behaviour is corrupt".

Does that stretch as far as Dubai?

"They need to oppose, reject and provide no support at all to people whose behaviour is corrupt".
