PM, 2 ministers face removal petition

The opposition on Thursday filed a petition with Senate Speaker Nikom Wairatpanich seeking the removal of three ministers from the cabinet.
The three ministers named in the petition are Yingluck Shinawatra as prime minister, ACM Sukumpol Suwanatat as defence minister and Pol Lt-Gen Chatt Kuladilok, deputy interior minister, and the grounds given are that they have been involved in corruption and committed legal offences.
The petition was filed by Jurin Laksanavisit, the opposition chief whip.
