Gamer threatens to stab himself

BANGKOK - A 30-year-old man threatened to stab himself in the throat with a knife after he refused to pay for services at an internet shop on Wednesday night.

"If you’re going to charge me, you’ll have to kill me," said Chaiyarat Chaiyaruk.

Mr Chaiyarat held a small knife to his throat as he walked from the internet shop to a nearby bank.

If a drunk stumbles in a bar the barowner cannot serve him drinks, his business his responsabilty
If a gamer is allowed to game 20 hours the game facilty should be shut down, simple as that

Lack of sleep will cause psychosis and that may be a factor here, but once again the Thai Police deserve credit for the time and patience they obviously took to end this standoff without injury. Very nice work.

Perhaps playing for 20 hours straight had something to do with the psychotic episode?

If he doesn't have a psychiatric issue, why is a strapping young man wasting his life away in an internet cafe. Seems that many kids and adults alike are seeking solace with an LCD screen rather than with real people. Sad.
