PM, Lee sign pact to double trade

SOUTH KOREA WILLING TO HELP THAILAND WITH FLOOD PROBLEM

South Korea yesterday promised water management assistance and a transfer of technology for high speed train systems for Thailand at the start of a two-day state visit by President Lee Myung-bak.

FLOOD HELP: South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak at the Khlong Lat Pho floodgate in Samut Prakan yesterday. He promised water management help and assistance to upgrade bilateral relations.

Mr Lee met Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra at Government House yesterday to discuss relations between the two nations.
