Multi-colour group to join Seh Ai's rally

Members of the multi-colour group will take part in the planned anti-government rally of the Pitak Siam group under Gen Boonlert Kaewprasit at the Royal Plaza on Nov 24, group leader Tul Sitthisomwong confirmed on Tuesday.

Dr Tul said the group would join the rally in a larger numbers than the last rally on Oct 28 because they  want to point out mistakes in the government's administration.

He insisted the multi-colour group had not conducted activities with a political agenda in parallel with the Democrat Party as alleged.  In the past, the group opposed many projects carried out by the Democrat-led government, he said.

I find it disturbing that a large percentage of the commenters on this and related subjects feel it fine to cheer on a street brawl. It might feel rewarding to be able to stir the pot all the time knowing that, if the worst comes to pass, you can just go home. That's a luxury Thai people just don't have they are already there.

These groups had a chance to run in the election and not one did. They know that few would vote for them or any party they represent nationally. The only way they can gain power by usurping democracy.

Yellow PADs, multi-colour shirts, Pitak Siam, and even the dems, they all belong to the same group of people. Nothing surprise to see these people joining hand in hand together in each of the anti-PT government/anti-Thaksin rally.

Jatuporn and Nattawut are going to be jealous of Gen Boonlert Kaewprasit who could bring several hundred thousands demonstrators in the street... The Red/UDD has never reach the amount of 100.000 demonstrators...

I think that the PT attack against Abhisit might work against them this time.
I hope that the Thai people can see how they are manipulating the law to befifit themselves.
I remember someone else wo did that and is now wanted to serve a 2 year jail sentence.

Thaksin is trying to eliminate the opposition. Once this is done then there will be nobody who will stand up to him and PT when they whitewash thaksin.

Thai people need to be careful. We don't need a coup but we need to stop the control that thaksin has on this country.

The countdown has started for the removal of the Puea Thaksin regime.

Do Pitak Siam and multi-colour group really believe to succeed toppling a democratic elected government through such a rally without any kind of political agenda?? Did they ever watch on TV some rallies in Greece or Spain ended up with urban guerrilla but with the governments still in place because in a democratic system the Police and the Army are pillars of the State and they defend all the State's institutions, no matters who is running the government? Do they really think that the Army and the police will stand by their side helping them to topple the Yingluck's government staging another coup 1 week after the Obama's visit in Bangkok?

This rally should be about stopping Thaksin taking over Thailand & controlling it as well as pushing Thailand into the same way Greece went and end up bankrupted
